Letters to the Editors

Ray:

Regarding WRS becomes Intel. Watch out below!, I sold my cherished and long-held Wind River stock a couple of weeks ago as soon as I found out about this fiasco. Look out, indeed! Good column.

Dave:

I like your business model and hope it succeeds.  I was especially heartened by this comment: “Even when we provide more or less conventional editorial content, we’ll keep it pithier than the norm to optimize your reading-time investment and let you know where to go to explore further. “ Pithy is good. Maybe you can add some irony as well. I just hope you don’t cross the line to a “pithier than thou” attitude. That would be tragically ironic.

Dave:

Looking at this motley cast of characters, you had better be careful what you wish for! But seriously, my very best wishes to everybody and I look forward to sharing thoughts about the current state of technology and the market (not wall street!).

David:

The Open Architecture theme should provide you, Loring and Terry enough leeway to cover a wide variety of topics that interest design engineers and decision makers in the embedded space. Editorial credibility is getting to be a rare commodity in the embedded market, but it is still a key factor to success. For this reason alone I’m confident that you (and your team of editors) will find a ready audience.

Ray:

WOW! This looks fantastic! Our industry really needs this. I like the fact that you will survey a number of different open architectures plus cover the business as well as product issues…The web site looks good, intuitive, and is easy to navigate.
